Is pet registration mandatory in Sri Ganganagar? expand_more
Yes. Under the Rajasthan Municipalities Act, 2009 (Sections 247 & 248) and the Municipal Corporation Bylaws, all pet owners residing within the municipal limits of Sri Ganganagar are legally required to register their pets and maintain active vaccination status.
Which animals can be registered through this portal? expand_more
The portal accommodates all domestic animals: Dogs, Cats, Horses, Cows, Buffaloes, Goats/Sheep, Camels, and Birds. You can choose from over 84 pre-configured breeds or enter custom breed specifications.

What documents are required to register? expand_more
You need to upload digital copies of:
- Anti-Rabies Vaccination Certificate: Issued by a licensed veterinary practitioner with batch number and expiry date.
- Pet Passport / Photo: Clear front photograph of your pet.
- Owner ID Proof: Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, or Passport.
- Address Proof: Electricity bill, water bill, or property tax receipt located within Sri Ganganagar municipal wards.
What if my pet is not yet vaccinated? expand_more
You must visit any government veterinary hospital or private clinic in Sri Ganganagar to administer the Anti-Rabies vaccine before applying. Applications without a valid veterinary certificate cannot be approved.
payments 3. Fees, Payment & Renewal
What is the registration fee? expand_more
The statutory municipal registration fee is ₹250.00 per pet per year. Payment is made online via UPI, debit/credit card, or net banking only after the municipal authority grants approval.
How long is the certificate valid and how to renew? expand_more
The certificate is valid for exactly 1 calendar year from issuance. Renewal reminders are sent 30 days prior to expiry via SMS and email. Renewal requires updating the annual booster rabies certificate and paying the renewal fee online.
